A Non-Surgical First Stop for Trumbull Athletes and Families
Trumbull has a deep sports culture, from the town's Little League history to Trumbull High Eagles football, lacrosse, baseball and softball, the Trumbull Pisces swim program and a busy youth calendar that never really ends. It also has excellent orthopedic surgeons nearby. CT Sports Recovery is the step before that: a physician-led clinic at 215 Main Street in Westport, about 20 minutes down the Merritt Parkway, where board-certified DOs and an MD diagnose the source of the problem and treat it without surgery.
Our physicians combine hands-on osteopathic manipulation with focused shockwave therapy, PRP and regenerative treatments, red light therapy and EMTT magnet therapy, all in one office. Physician visits are billed to insurance, no referral is required, and same-week appointments are standard.

Frequently Asked Questions from Trumbull Patients
My son has elbow pain from pitching. Can you evaluate it without going straight to a surgeon?
Yes. Our physicians evaluate throwing-related elbow and shoulder pain, order imaging when it is needed and build a non-surgical plan that typically combines osteopathic manipulation, targeted treatment and a throwing-load progression. If the injury needs a surgeon, we will tell you and coordinate the referral.
Do you accept insurance for Trumbull patients?
Yes. Physician visits and covered treatments are billed to insurance, and no referral is needed. Advanced therapies such as focused shockwave, PRP, red light and peptide programs are typically self-pay, and we review costs before anything begins.
How long is the drive from Trumbull?
About 20 minutes via the Merritt Parkway west to Exit 42 and Route 57 south. Free parking is in the rear lot at 215 Main Street, Westport.
Can you evaluate a concussion from a Trumbull High football or lacrosse game?
Yes. Our physicians provide concussion evaluation and a stepwise recovery plan for returning to school and sport, and we coordinate with athletic trainers when helpful.
Do you treat swimmers?
Yes. Shoulder impingement, breaststroker's knee and low-back pain from high training volume are common in competitive swimmers and respond well to physician-led, non-surgical care.
