Physician-Led Care That Starts with an Insurance-Based Visit
CT Sports Recovery is a physician-led sports recovery and non-surgical pain relief clinic at 215 Main Street in Westport, about 15 minutes west of Bridgeport on the Post Road or I-95. Our board-certified physiatrist and osteopathic physicians diagnose the real source of pain and treat it with hands-on osteopathic manipulation, focused shockwave therapy, PRP and regenerative treatments, red light therapy and EMTT magnet therapy, all in one office.
Getting started is simple: your physician evaluation is billed to insurance, no referral is needed, and same-week appointments are the norm. If your case needs imaging, a surgeon or another specialist, we will tell you and help you get there.

Frequently Asked Questions from Bridgeport Patients
Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?
No. You can book directly online or by phone, and your physician evaluation is billed to insurance.
What will I pay out of pocket?
Physician visits and covered treatments are billed to insurance, so your cost depends on your plan's copay and deductible. Some advanced therapies, such as focused shockwave, red light and peptide programs, are typically self-pay. We explain every cost before you commit to anything.
I stand all day at work and my heels are killing me. Can you help?
Yes. Plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinopathy are among the most common problems we treat, and focused shockwave therapy combined with physician-guided care is designed to address the cause rather than mask the pain.
Do you offer early or late appointments for shift workers?
We open at 8am Monday through Friday and offer extended hours on Tuesdays (availability varies by provider). Booking online shows every open time.
How far is your office from Bridgeport?
About 15 to 20 minutes via I-95 South to Exit 17 or the Post Road west. Free parking is in the rear lot at 215 Main Street, Westport.
