Evaluation
Evaluation of headaches and migraines in our clinic is unique. Our non-pharmacologic approach involves first identifying triggers in your diet and environment. It may be helpful to keep a simple food/habit diary to bring to your treatments. During your visit, the doctor will collect a history of your symptoms, and conduct a physical assessment of your spine, muscles, and cranial motion.
Treatment
Craniosacral therapy is a powerful tool for treating headaches and migraines. The focus is on the head and neck, and additional areas as needed. Custom sessions provide the best possible care and relief. Ongoing headaches or migraines can affect your life significantly, so the goal is to achieve long-lasting results. One treatment is typically not enough for migraines, so 2-3 treatments over the first month with ongoing maintenance therapy every 2-3 months is recommended.
